Dr. Diesfeld trained in Sweden with the pioneer of one of the most effective surgical treatments for urinary incontinence – the tension-free vaginal tape procedure, or “TVT.” This outpatient procedure takes around 30 to 40 minutes to complete. It is used to bring the urethra back into its proper position, relieving the symptoms of incontinence almost immediately after recovery.
